iTunes Review

The debut full-length from Seattle’s Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Heist, is a remarkable introduction to the MC and DJ team. From the jump (“Ten Thousand Hours”), the quick-witted Macklemore tips his cap to Malcolm Gladwell, flexes lyrical skills (“Can’t Hold Us"), reveals uncompromised goals (“Make the Money,” “Jimmy Iovine"), and intelligently delivers endearing stories.

An awesome album, and even though it's the clean version, it's still good and a worthwhile purchase if you're not allowed the explicit version. Although Thrift Shop does sound strange at times, and the fact that it 'censors' the swearing does hinder the beat slightly. But aside from that, it's still awesome. You are a truly amazing guy. Can honestly say Same Love changed everything for me. respect <3

Love him so much!

Five years later his debut album, The Language of My World, earned him a local following, but it was his 2010 team-up with DJ/producer Ryan Lewis...
