Customer Reviews

I was expecting more...

As much as I hate to say it because I love this band, this album has something lacking. After 'The First Days of Spring', in which all the songs had strong and wallowy depth, this seems to be missing the emotion and strength that made their other two albums so brilliant. It's not bad to listen to, but this is an album to have on in the background rather than one to sit and listen to for its own sake. Disappointed.

Absolutely amazing!!

This is the first album for a lonnnng time to truely make an impact on me. Amazing storytelling and just amazing songs!!! Dont listen to the delusional people who think their music critics the moment there allowed to review an album......buy and you wont be dissapointed!!!

Growing up and turning into Billy Joel

This Album sounds like a mixture of Arcade Fire, The Waterboys and maybe a smattering of Billy Joel.
It's less tortured by heartbreak than the last album & carries on the theme of hope for the future where first days of spring left us.
Really beautiful in places, relaxing and already, I'm finding it a 'comfy' album.
One song's use of the same xylophone sound as the iPod alarm tone has me jumping out of my skin every time I hear it. This is a lovely soundtrack to daydreaming. Enjoy.
