Tom Lehrer in Concert

Fantastic..... to find Tom Lehrer on iTunes is amazing..... I thought I'd "discovered" Lehrer at boarding school, and was diappointed to find my parents had discovered him whilst living in NY 30 years before.... but he can make anyone laugh and / or cry..... brilliant! Only a shame this album does not have "The Vatican Rag" (and a couple of others) - for me the ultimate Lehrer view of life!

Funny is not the word.

I never get tired of listening. It's clever, witty, poignant and very, very funny. I bought it when it was first released but loan it to someone who forgot to give it back, I won't let it go again.

Superb...what a gem!

Like many others, it's a lovely surprise to find Tom Lehrer on i-Tunes. It reminds me of my childhood, listening to the record with my dad, singing along to "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park". If you have never listened to Tom Lehrer, then I highly recommend you do so now. They're great songs - very witty, very clever and very, very funny!

Despite an aversion to the press and a relatively small recorded output, Lehrer became a star, although he remained an enigma to even his most ardent fans; he rarely toured, never allowed...
