Funny activist comedian

Mark Thomas is a humorous campaigner against everything war. In his show, The Night War Broke Out, he tackles the subject of Iraq and the War on Terror, which, as Mark says, is an impossible war to have. How can you have a war against an abstract concept? What's next, asks mark, the war against clutter? The show is very anti Blair, anti radar dome listening posts and anti Bush. Which in my book are very good things. If you enjoy discussions about the stupidity of the American government and hearing the interesting tales of activists who have never been arrested, then this is an album you should buy. However, this is not hilarious stuff, you will laugh, but there is nothing here that will make you roll on the floor. Perhaps that is not Mark's intention, these are serious matters he is talking about. It may just not be my sort of humour. I'm not all that against war, but I do love a bit of Bush-bashing when it comes along.

mark is a star

having got back from mark & robert's gig in huddersfield, i am determined to spread the good word. these guys rule. and as they sell the cd for £12 buying it online is a wise move. but they deserved my money. buy the album. go see them. its worth it.
