iTunes Review

On his proper follow-up to Graceland, Simon introduces addictive Latin rhythms to sprightly West African guitars. Opening with the joyous massed drumming of “The Obvious Child”, from there he wields his soothing, conversational vocals to ponder modern life’s complexities, finally finding hope on the gospel-tinged “The Cool, Cool River”.

Amazing album

Pure amazing songs best play very loud
When driving in the sun with the windows open

I know a lot of people like to throw this word around but this is how I feel about this record, it's perfection. It has subtle yet complex melodies, the album is bursting with life, joy, sadness and wonder. The lyrics and vocals are some of Paul's very very best, this is my favourite record of all time, underrated masterwork.
