Album of the year!

This is an amazing record - easily my album of 2009, so far, although run hard by Mumford & Sons 'Sigh No More'. It is a multi-instrumental joy. No duff tracks and some incredible songs. Think about a happier Arcade Fire, and you wouldn't be far wrong. Highly recommended!

Great Sound

Just by chance I saw Fanfarlo on Channel M - and was hooked straight away. Great sound and interesting tracks - its all good. Whats not too like ? My find of 2009! Not had this feeling of discovery since I saw James support the Smiths on the Meat is Murder tour.

I'm amazed this hasn't attracted more attention

It's not often you get an album full of great melodic songs, well performed. There really isn't a weak track. I wonder if they just suffer a bit from being very much of a type - there are clear echoes of Devotchka, Beirut, Arcade Fire here. Anyway I think it's great. The standout track for me is Harold T. Wilkins.
