Was the tempo option broken on the computer?

First things first - I'm a big Moby fan, so I was excited to see this released recently.
Moby has gone full on with this album throwing everything at it. The problem is, there's very little let up from the thrashing guitars and electro drums raging at a high tempo.
In my view, Hotel was his peak. Real light and shade to that album with lots of great, melodic songs and beautiful instrumentals. There's little melody to be heard here over the distorted vocals, and very little emotion throughout, which is a shame.
I'm sure this will work great live, and maybe that's the angle, but it's not for me. 'Are you lost in the world like me?' is by far the best song out of the 12 on offer.
Maybe less focus on the presidential candidates might have enabled him to fix the tempo my humble opinion.

Best MOBY work in years EPICALLY MOBY

Been a big move fan since everythingiswrong was released and my fav MOBY album is "18" but this is epic some of his best word and music , it just get better and better with every listen , this will be a vinyl purchase , it's brilliant , and yet so unexpected.... you won't be disappointed . Thank you MOBY for the music to my youth and indeed my life .

That year, Moby & the Void Pacific Choir also helped close out Robin Schulz' album Sugar with "Moonlit Sky."...
