Editors’ Notes

This collection of songs serves as both a celebration and eulogy of Jackson’s life in music. It begins with the svelte funk of “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” the leading track from the world’s biggest selling album of all time, 1982’s Thriller. The stellar remastering of “Jam” allows all the studio nuances to pop out of the song. This is even more evident on the remastered “Beat It.”

Rip OFF

I just purchased the whole album so I could have the This is it single, im sure most people who are going to buy this album already have rest of the songs on it.

So basically we will be paying 9.99 for one song

this is it

I'm quite frustrated that itunes aren't selling this is it (single) on it's own because i already have most of the other songs on the album.

A Great Listen

I have to say that I really enjoyed this. I do not have a huge collection of Michael Jackson music in my catalogue, and its quite suprising just how refreshing Michael Jackson's music still is. His voice fits so perfectly into any sound, from the chanting in 'Wanna be startin somethin' to the beautiful ballads that are Man in the Mirror and This is it, to the funky beats of Jam. After listening yor are left thinking there really is no one else in the world quite like him. The remastered sound on the tracks is crystal clear and the attention to every sound, every detail in some of these tracks is just staggering. The 'This is it' track is a beautiful close to the great chunk of history that is included on the album. I have to say that after listening to the whole album on the way to work, I suddenly feel a great loss towards Michael Jackson. This album refreshes in your mind just what a musical genius he was. I highly recommend 'This is it'. Only my 2nd 5***** rating and must have album of the year.
