Editors’ Notes

Brad Paisley’s guests include Alabama, on “Old Alabama,” Don Henley on “Love Her Like She’s Leavin’,” Sheryl Crow, Marty Stuart and Carl Jackson on “Life’s Railway to Heaven” and Clint Eastwood whistling on “Eastwood.” The harmonies are tight and the songs are vivid with details. “A Man Don’t Have To Die” is a powerful piece of reality. “Remind Me,” a duet with Carrie Underwood, is a great showcase for both vocal talents.

2011 And Going Strong

I've been a fan of Brad Paisley for sometime now, When He released American Saturday Night To me it was one of his best albums, and Now that I have had a few listens to Tis Is Country Music This far excels Any of his previous Albums and is easily his best work yet. Remind Me with Carrie underwood and Be The Lke stand out, but as a whole This Is Country Music is to date his best album and gets five stars from me, Now I can't wait to see what his future albums sound like the guy seems to grow from strength to strength his newer albums constantly topping the previous incarnations.

This sense of adventure could be heard on 2009's American Saturday Night, a big-hearted and eclectic...
