wibble wobble, 2 and little bit of egg

grrr! i love bush, and institute has elements i could grasp! but this, weak trashy, overly produced american radio friendly tripe- gavin has gone 'one tree hill' on us! fair enough, he probably wants to detach himself from what was(nd good luck with it!), but for me....were are on a hiatus rossdale! bring back the raw exciting not looking for heavily distorted guitars(that would be a plus!), but lets hear your fantastic emotionally enthralling voice, raw! without the effects and 101 layers to make it pitch perfect! cheers for the good times though :)

This is no Bush!

I have been eagerly awaiting this album only to be dissapointed. I loved Bush since their first album and Institute were even better for me. Both bands produced powerful rock music with incredible lyrics backed up by powerful music from very accomplished musicians. This solo album is closer to Jame Blunt than Institute for me and if I'm honest, I probably won't play it much (if again) as it has lost the power and 'edge' I loved in Bush and Institute. More commercial, and much the poorer for it.

Bush fans stay away!

Ok i want to start this review by saying that i wanted to like this album i really did. I love Bush and have followed them since the beginning and have seen them live countless times. When they split i was gutted but always knew Gavin would come out with some solo stuff eventually .... but this is not what i was expecting it sounds more like Enrique Iglesias (yes that is how you spell it i checked!). Im going to listen to Sixteen Stone i suggest you do the same and save yourself £7.99. (Sorry Gavin)

Although grunge was primarily an American phenomenon, London native Gavin Rossdale left his mark on the genre by leading Bush to the forefront of modern rock radio in the mid-'90s. Bush enjoyed considerable popularity in the U.S., where the band's gravelly melodies and rhythmic crunch drove its debut album, Sixteen Stone, to multi-platinum status. Although Rossdale would never match that commercial peak again, he continued to create music throughout the subsequent decade, staying with Bush until...
