With their fourth studio album, All Time Low tip the scales of the punk-pop genre much more heavily on the side of pop — and it totally works. “Do You Want Me (Dead?)” opens with a lyrically quirky slice of Cheap Trick-inspired power-pop. The following “I Feel Like Dancin’” is the album’s chart-driven standout and was co-written by Rivers Cuomo whose Velcro-catchy hooks recall Weezer’s own “Beverly Hills”. The emo-laced anthem “Guts” competes for top track status with subtly melancholy melodies that contrast an uplifting chorus and a welcome guest appearance by Maja Ivarsson of the Sounds. Of the four bonus tracks on the Deluxe Version, the exclusive “Bad Enough for You” proves to be one of the catchiest.
