Proves that talent is not limited

From absolutely nowhere spawns this tremendous album, an absolute tribute to the premise of music itself. From the operatic beauty of "Kwa Kungasa" to the comedic rap of "Late Night Mission", this is an album that will make you smile, laugh, think and be in total awe at the various abilities of Mr Jerome. If the stunning bonus track wasn't enough to suade you into buying this masterpiece, then I suggest buying "Dancing Girl"; featuring Zero 7's Mozez.

The album that saved my soul

This is a precious gem of a release, in a little over an hour i was taken on a magical breathtaking journey. Openining with the to die for vocals of Simphiwe Dana, i was locked in and never locked out til the end. Beautiful soul music, sweeping cinematic landscapes, jazz and even a bit of hip hop. Love the front cover too, can't wait to see the live show.

still fantastic 2 years on!!

This is one of those rare albums that stays precious - in fact, becomes more precious as time passes. When I first heard it, I loved it. Now, two years later it's still one of my absolute favourite records. As another reviewer has pointed out, it really is a musical journey. It's wide-ranging and accomplished, with both emotion and groove (a rare combination!) Dripping with beautiful melodies, mixing crystalline electronica with real instrumentation, warm and fuzzy vibes, chunky beats, blinding vocal performances... It is, quite simply, a gem. An album that really takes you somewhere. More from Mr Jerome and his band of fine collaborators please!!

Nicknamed Mr. Soul Blender because of his smooth, soulful remixes, producer Aaron Jerome was heavily influenced by the first record he ever bought, De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising. He was raised in Cambridgeshire, England, and attended Westminster University, where he ended up taking a music production course with classmate Kevin Mark Trail. Trail would go on to write "Eastern Eyes" for Nitin Sawhney's 2003 album, Human, while Jerome got to do the remix, setting off a barrage of remix requests....
