This album is so amazing, the songs are brilliant, and this is real music, and this takes so much talent unlike some artists these days! Thankyou to all Artists on this CD for making me appreciate music. Adam D

The original and still the best!
The original Three Tenors concert from Rome on the eve of the 1990 World Cup is one of the defining moments in history of classical music in the modern era. The concert was billed as the first meeting on stage of the three finest tenors in the world. The performers were billed as rivals and in the concert there are moments when Pavarotti in particular wants to out-perform Carreras and Domingo, but competition brings out the best in all three. With Zubin Mehta conducting not one, but two orchestras in the historical setting of the ancient Roman baths this is a wonderful reminder of a unique night. None of the subsequent Three Tenors concerts ever matched the passion and joy of this great occasion.
