Typo — correction

SkE! mentions that these are from the Next Generation. I presume this was a typo. They are actually from the original series (Kirk, Spock et al), & the animated series.

Authentic Sound Effects from the Original Star Trek Series

These are the real authentic sounds from the first ever televised series of Star Trek (The Next Generation). I would only, however recommend buying this if you are making a Star Trek type, science fiction film and not for general listening (unless you really want!) The sound effects have been published at the original speed which is a considerable speed slower than you hear them in the series. This was done so that sounds could be perfected and so that they can be changed into pretty much any speed that is really necessary. For example, if you have a phaser blast that lasts 2 seconds and the clip is 15 seconds; you would speed the sound up so it lasted only 2 seconds and you would get a nice crisp phaser sound. Great, but like I said, more suited to home or private film production (not sold to public due to copyrights).

Definitely not Next Generation!!!

All sound FX are from the original 1960s series without a doubt, I have listened to all of them! Simple as that, these are nothing to do with Next Generation FX. AutomatedRandomated implies the original series was Next Generation, it was not! If that was not your meaning then extremely badly worded!
