Album Review

This is a wonderful two-disc overview of Otis Redding's brief career, and it hits most of the high points, including such classics as "Respect," "Try a Little Tenderness," "Pain in My Heart," and "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay." Also included are Redding's near-definitive version of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" and the gorgeous (and heartbreaking) "I've Got Dreams to Remember," a Redding original.

I have always loved Otis. All of his songs were great so why am i the first to comment people? Is it because you lot are illegaly downloading? I guess we are being over priced but still this is alot easier and quicker than downloading illegaly, and safer!

His death at the age of 26 was tragic not just because he seemed on the verge of breaking through...
