Album Review

Inspired by the life of Andy Warhol muse Edie Sedgewick, 2010's Une Enfant du Siecle is the fourth studio album from French pop star Alizee. Her second release without any creative input from mentor Mylène Farmer, its more electronic/techno sound and chilled, ethereal production marks a stark contrast from her previous teen Euro-pop efforts. Produced by the likes of Chateau Marmont and TTC, it features a range of tunes sung in English and French such as teaser track "Limelight," and lead single "Les Collines (Never Leave You)." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

A coming of age album

A beautiful album, full of beautiful songs. A little more etherial and airy than her previous more poppy albums. A first listen hit and recommended listening.

An amazing set of electrinica songs this is Alizee's best album yet. Standout tracks are 'Eden, Eden', 'A Coeur Fendre' and the absolutely magnificent 'Limelight'. If you're readng this you probably already know the high quality of Alizee's albums and you really don't want to miss this. 10/10
