Why oh why?

Why this man is not better known is a mystery to me - great tunes and well crafted songs, Scotland wake up!

Pride of Scotland

This man is a genius, why o why o why did it take a cameo on scrubs to get him some half-decent recognition - his music is outstanding. Probably my favourite Colin Hay album, its packed with some of his best work. Waiting for my real life to begin is probably my personal favourite, but 'Maggie' is extremely powerful too. Track 6 is a tribute to George Best


I am ashamed to say I first discovered Colin Hay on that particular episode of Scrubs (not saying I have anything against that show - I love it!), but I think the acoustic verion of Overkill is brilliant, and as for this album - Waiting for My Real Life to Begin has got to be my favourite. It's an incredibly moving track, and you can see why many want to use it in films. All I can say is keep up the amazing work!
