Editors’ Notes

Miranda Lambert lives up to expectations here, reprising her role as the gun-toting firebrand with a heart of gold. While tracks like "White Liar" and "Only Prettier" court rock fans with their peppy crunch, the highlights are the thoughtful moments, such as the stirring "The House That Built Me," about returning to one's childhood home.

A Great Album From A Great Talent

I was introduced to Miranda Lambert by a special friend of mine after she played The House That Built Me, which has to be my favourite track on here. The lyrics and sentiment behind all the songs mean something and can induce many moods, and that is why I thoroughly recommend this album. Get it, NOW!
