Customer Reviews

Absolutely a must have for anyone that likes the 'babes.
All the hits including Radio 1's live lounge performances and songs unreleased on previous albums!
probably the best and most comprehensive collection from one band ever!

Well worth the release

The real benefit of releasing an album such as this is that it is not driven by normal expectations as would be the case concerning a collection of brand new songs. There is no pressure on the band to chart extensively or depend on critical reviews to ensure its success. That in itself makes for some very pleasurable listening. This release is basically the edited version of the main B's collection, as it is minus the several remixes that were previously also available from the band's back catalogue of singles.

Having said that, there are a couple of tracks which I believe could well have been A sides. It's a shame that Island didn't have the courage to release them as such. The tracks I refer to are "Like The Weather", and the girls' cover version of the Lennon/McCartney classic "Come Together". "Weather" has some wonderful soulful melodies in it that are well worked by the group, and "Come Together" has some delicious guitar work interspersing the vocal talent. The girls have covered other material before, eg "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" by Primal Scream, which is guaranteed to blow away any remaining cobwebs, and also is a contender for an A side.

Overall, this is a very worthwhile release, and hopefully will raise the group's profile to where it should be - at the top.

This Sugababes Album is a must have.

This album is amazing, it has every B - side thats been so far. (apart from overload, new year, run for cover and soul sound) overall this is a fantastic album for just £7.99 and i've you like sugababes you will love the collection. 10/10

Formed: 1998 in England

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

Multi-ethnic U.K. trio Sugababes jumped aboard the teen pop bandwagon prior to the new millennium and exuded their own sassy demeanor without the frivolity of most mainstream acts. Siobhan Donaghy, Keisha Buchanan, and Mutya Buena were barely in their teens when they formed in 1998, sharing a liking of garage, hip-hop, and dance music. Initially, Sugababes were three friends who enjoyed singing along to the radio. Buchanan and Buena had been pals since primary school, and a chance meeting with Donaghy...
