Marvellous!

These may not be the chart-toppers of the decade but they give a fantastically evocative taste of the period. You'll hopefully remember most of them from the radio (the early days of Capital Radio 194 and provincial equivalents anyone?) and tons of them are real gems. And there's a HUNDRED here! Very few are played on the radio today - even the nostalgia/oldies stations. I thought I had all the seventies compilations I needed, but I still found very few duplicates here. Who needs another seventies album? I found I did, when it was THIS good. And you may do too. FABULOUS!

Late to bed!

I was absolutely stunned with this album. One night last week, I stuck it on and didn't get to bed until five in the morning and I still hadn't finished listening! There are tracks on here that nobody ever plays anymore. Everything is an original cut. I will be featuring some of the tracks on a programme I'm doing at my local hospital radio station in a few weeks as the album is THAT good!

Actually, I was looking for a particular song when this album came up. I couldn't resist it after seeing the track list!

Love 70s music? Grab this, then, while it's available.

I Can Do Nothing But ...

agree with the two previous reviewers. I grew up in the 70's and as each say some tracks are never played anymore or are just hard to fin for example, Dana's Who Put the Lights Out. I came across it whilst browsing the 59p tunes, looking for maybe longer version of Rainbow's Since You've Been Gone and found this. I have many of the tracks on it already but there are still a few I haven't. So as the other reviewer said get it whilst it's here. Many of the tracks aren't the most popular and subsequently overplayed tracks of the 70's but there is many a memory to be had from those that aren't. A great all round 70's compilation. I have I praised it sufficiently?
