Good return of the G O D of rap

Rakim's first original recorded album in many a year, since 'The Master', is a much polished effort. It may not be up to the high expectations of some hip hop purists, and some of the production is lacking, yet Rakim still proves that he is still without a doubt one of the best lyrical rappers of all time.


I don't care what anyone else has to say, my only regret is that I was born into a generation where the God Mc isn't appreciated. Thankfully, rappers like J Cole and Kendrick Lamar made me properly research the culture of hip hop and I stumbled onto this gold mine.
