The final instalment of the Minutemen's compilation series Post-Mersh collects a number of their rare EPs, singles, B-sides and brief lo-fi sketches, adroitly demonstrating the pioneering punk trio's fearlessness. "Afternoons" mines tension by clashing twangy guitars with jittery beats and "Black Sheep" merges a laidback groove with urgent vocal delivery, while “If Reagan Played Disco” is the kind of slinky, grooving protest song that only the Minutemen could’ve pulled off.
