Magic Album!

I love this album! I have had it less than an hour, and am already addicted to so many songs. Baby Come Home is the opening track and immediately captures the attention of listeners. It smoothly opens up to the exciting track that is Keep Your Shoes On. Moving onto Inevitable, a very relaxing track, quickly becoming one of my favourites! Then of course we have Only The Horses, the lead single. Many of you will have heard this song already. Year Of Living Dangerously is a heartwarming song, Jake's outstanding vocals and words will be stuck in your head for days on end! Then we have Let's Have A Kiki! Ana's trademark track! The phone message opening leads into an addictive chorus and will have you telling everyone you are "having a Kiki"! I must admit, the next song "Shady Love" is the only song I have anything negative to say about on this album. I'm just not feeling it! Azealia Banks isn't my favourite vocalist on the music scene at the moment though, so I blame it on the fact that she collaborated on this track. San Louis Obispo is a perfect singalong track, and trying to figure out where the hell the San Luis Obispo is! (for those who don't know it's in CA, and is said to be the happiest place in America! [I will take your word on this Scissor Sisters!]). Self Control begins with an amazingly trancy-beat and is followed by Ana's whispered vocals before Jake begins the song. As fr Best In Me, The Secret Life Of Letters, Somewhere and F*** Yeah, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about these tracks yet, I've been completely overwhelmed by the song I have spoken about here.

All in all, I will say its a fantastic album, which will have you wondering how you survived so long without it! Buy it now!

Truly fantastic album! I'd give it 100 out of 5 if i could. Every song takes you on a journey. Best song Somewhere. The tune is just so seductive its untrue. If i had to pick second and third best song, second would be Only the Horses and third would be between Let's Have a Kiki and Shady Love. Love it!

Deserves #1 spot

A genuinely decent album!
Favourite tracks are definitely baby come home, keep your shoes on and only the horses!

Formed: 2001 in New York, NY

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '00s, '10s

A genre- and gender-defying mix of rock, pop, and dance inspired by burlesque, drag queens, and glam rock, New York's Scissor Sisters made a splash in late 2003/early 2004 with their neon-bright reimagining of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," the B-side to the band's first single, "Electrobix." The song made quite a name for the band, which featured singers Jake Shears and Ana Matronic, keyboardist/bassist Babydaddy, guitarists Del Marquis and Derek G, and drummer Paddy Boom: along with becoming...
