Good place to start

If you haven't heard of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, this is a very good beginners' introduction. The western influence can be heard, and as a result this is a very accesible album. However it may be too western for some listeners, and as a result should only be seen as a beginners' album. Those wanting more should bear in mind that many of these songs are available in 20 minute versions elsewhere.
