Coleman is better than mustard

An outstanding chilled collection from the original Drum and bass master. A must buy for anyone!

Another Astounding London Elektricity Album

London Elektricity returns with another astounding album. Yikes! has taken liquid Drum & Bass in a new direction. The first single and opening track 'Elektricity Will Keep Me Warm' is a beautiful start to the album and very much continues Tonys unique D&B style. The track features the stunning vocals of Elsa Esmeralda who features heavily throughout the album, clearly a favourite vocalist of Tonys after their collaboration on the amazing 'Just One Second' released on Elektricitys last album 'syncopated city'. The second track 'Meteorites' continues the more melancholy theme of the first track and also features Elsa Esmeraldas flowing, liquid vocals however this more down tempo style is complimented with the more upbeat tracks such as 'The Plan That Cannot Fail' and 'Yikes!' both fantastic tracks for the club and the bedroom listener. Other stand out tracks such as 'Round The World In A Day' sound very similar to early London Elektricity and wouldn't be out of place on his early releases such as 'Pull The Plug'. 'Love The Silence' also stands out as a classic Elektricity track and continues the more emotional trend running throughout the album and hopefully makes the listener, as it should, feel privileged to know about Drum & Bass. I think Tony Colman has created a beautiful collection of music and has outdone himself considerably when compared to his previous releases. A must buy for any Drum & Bass fan.

Tony Coleman, once again, does not disappoint.

This album is a refreshing reminder of how DnB can work so well with jazzy vocals, big basslines and smooth, chilled-out piano melodies. Coleman's ability to make his unique and distinct sounding music work with Elsa Esmeralda is perfectly reflected.
Massive album at a small price. Get it.

The flagship act on West London's Hospital Records, London Elektricity specialize in sleek, organic coffee-table drum'n'bass in league with production maestros like Roni Size and E-Z Rollers. The duo of Tony Coleman and Chris Goss (both musicians) focus on live construction, with solos from flute and violin plus Coleman's thick double-bass on many tracks. Their first release on Hospital, "Sister Stalking," did well in Japan and earned a distribution contract through Sony Japan. Singles like "Pull...
