Dance To Dance To The Radio

While a bit hit and miss, this compilation did give me what I wanted....namely more material by This Et Al, iLiKETRAINS (whose "The Beeching House" is one of the most genuinely moving songs I've heard in a long while), Kubichek!, The Pigeon Detectives, Dead Disco, and Foward Russia. And not one of them doesn't deliver. Oh...and re: the other reviewer's comment - I can't stand the Hives, I'm not particularly fussed with the Kaiser Chiefs and I thought the second Franz Ferdinand album was fairly dull....odd, eh?

top compilation

this is a great collection of songs. Surprisingly varied for the NME type indie bands that i am so inclined towards. iLiKETRAiNS is beautiful, O Francas, Kubichek, Forward Russia, Bam Bam Your Dead, and Redcarsgofaster are all fantastic discoveries. What strikes me is the brilliant band names: Whoreswhoreswhores, This Et Al, Dead Disco, Snow White, Napoleon the IIIrd, and We Start Fires.

Kubichek Rock!!!

There is only one way you can play this album, on full volume!!!! It is full of great bands and amazing songs that just make you wanna sing along and dance! My favourites are 'We start fires', 'Forward Russia!', 'The Pigeon Detectives' and my favourite band of the moment; 'Kubichek!' !!!!!! This is well worth the money and will introduce you to some cool new bands if you dont already know about them.
