It`s what he`s thinking

Quite simply, a return to genius
Damon is the best singer songwriter since Difford & Tillbrook and Elvis Costello (kids, ask your parents).
A national treasure.
Deserves to be a masterpiece, as does all his work. Treasure and protect him now, the man is BACK!
`I Saw You Walk Away` is the best song since `There Is A Light that Never Goes Out`(kids, that`s the Smiths-the last great Manchester phenomenon)-

Damon, thank God your back!!
Snollygoster

What today brings

I love the musicality, layered as lovely as the words (so poetic).

As a film-maker it is hard not to feel moved by BDB.

After two listenings only I am drawn to tracks 4 and 5.

Damon's sublime new album

Damon Gough has released a stunning 'wall of sound' album that easily matches, and with some of the songs (Too Many Miracles and You Lied to name but two), surpasses his previous works. His voice is just an element, equally as important as chord structures and melody lines, though given no undue prominence, in this carefully constructed and brilliantly produced aural experience which, since purchase, I've played perhaps more often than is good for me. But it's really that good. Simply put: sublime.

Born Damon Gough, he began recording after meeting the like-minded Andy Votel at a Manchester nightclub. The pair formed the Twisted Nerve label, and Gough debuted as Badly Drawn Boy with an EP and several singles. The recordings dovetailed nicely with the experimentalist pop fringe of artists like Scott 4 and the Beta...
