Just as good as zimmer
As good as any big budget blockbuster movie.
The score brings to life the dark, chaotic atmosphere of Arkham City, with many tracks invoking a sense of urgency designed to complement the combat elements of the game, yet standing strong as musical pieces separate of the source material.
Other tracks convey the complex, character-driven narrative of the game with a moody, slower pace clearly influenced by past Batman scores yet staying fresh and true to its own world.
The only real disappointment is the shortness of the majority of the tracks, and the shortness of the album as a whole - coming in at just under one hour.
Despite it's short length, the score stands as a great addition to the many outstanding musical interpretations of Batman's world.
As I played the game the score built the atmosphere beauitifully, the music is every bit as emotive, powerful and noticeable as any of the Batman cinema releases, truly a work of art!
