A Very Useful and Easy to Use App.
I have found Alfa to be a very useful app. It has made internet banking really easy for me. Never had any problems with logging in, bill payments and money transfers. I can safely say it is easy to use and without problems. Of course there is always room for improvement. Keep it up.
Unable to activate credit card
The simplest of all features doesn’t work on this app. When you click ‘manage cards’, it opens up a new page with two tabs - debit card and credit card. But it automatically opens up to the debit card tab and, since I don’t have a debit card with Bank Alfalah, it gives me an error message that no cards available! As soon as I click OK, it takes me back to the previous page. There is NO way for me to click the credit card tab. The error message pops up automatically, and allows you to click nothing else. And as soon as you accept the error message, it returns to previous page.
A credit card only user is not the most unique scenario. Terrible testing protocols by the software team at Bank Alfalah. I can only imagine how poor the rest of their departments are. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with them regularly.
Useless Service for OTP
I’m so sorry to mention two type of OTP service is USELESS, waste of time in the name of so-called security.
I would like to let you know, I’m in UK. I need to top up my mobile phone that’s with me, active roaming. For top up or need to add a new payee I have to wait receive OTP. 1/2 OTP is coming on mobile phone and rest of other part should be via email. I can receive email OTP immediately every time but unfortunately mobile one is cooing very late. When you receive later on mobile and try to complete both then time already expired.
I make this rehearsal many time. At last after a long while succeeded to add new mobile top up payee. It’s not 1st time, it happen every time. It’s shut service. Sorry for using below the belt but honestly it’s that’s very sadistic moments.
For example I have another active service from BOP. Very straight forward , immediate response. OTP should be either on Mobile or in Email. It’s fine.
