Superb and it can only get better.
I saw this being demo'ed some time back and was impressed with the simplicity of the app. Knowing Autodesk, they will continue to add further functions to the app or tie it up with 123D Sculpt. Further functionality can be had from the desktop cousins of the same name, so if this is not enough then try those ones.
At present the app only provides for lathed objects, but within that limitation you are free to design anything circular. For kids this app is out of this world, and when they get the chance to make something for themselves that's when the fun starts.
The benefit of this app is that not only does it show the object being made, but it will let you print out the plans to make it. You also have the option of ordering a laser cut version.
So what are you waiting for, it's worth the download and good for starters.
When i first saw this app i didn't know what it is or what it does so i watched the demo that was shown in my school and looked amazing, you could move and rotate the 3d module and make your own and you get the blueprints
It is good but hard to use
It is a really good and helpful app but it's also very hard to master or achieve what u are wanting from it.
