Highly Recommend

I used this App when I had a nasty throat infection and couldn’t get an appointment to see my doctor, the throat infection consisted of ulcerated blisters at the back of my throat and on my tonsils etc, I used Ada to track my symptoms and it came back with “Herpangina” (not an STD even though the name suggests it lol) in the end my wife took me to A&E at our local hospital as 1, I couldn’t get an appointment to see my doctor in time, and 2, it was incredibly painful to eat/swallow/drink which resulted in me losing weight and if I’d of gone any longer dehydration. Whilst in A&E the nurse just put it down to “throat infection” (in other words she didn’t know). I suggested could it possibly be Herpangina, to which the nurse in the A&E department had never heard of, and while she I was there she had researched it on her computer and comparing images on the internet along with symptoms with me she said, “you’re right, it is!” And that in “40 years of her being a nurse she had never heard of it” in the end, Herpangina was my diagnostic, so thanks to Ada I was able to get the right treatment for it.
But all in all Ada is an amazing app, I would 100% recommend!

Helpful App

This is NOT google medicine. As a healthcare practitioner I know this app asks all the questions I would think to ask during a analysis of patients symptoms and it also does them in a gentle and delicate manner. Usually in the UK we can only speak to a document over the phone for a triage appointment and this has been the case since long before the COVID-19 lockdown stared. We have 10 minutes on the phone with a patient on a phone call to decide whether we need to see them for a physical examination and tests or issue a prescription or make a referral. It’s not really medicine anymore. This app does as good a job as most doctors and nurses can do over the phone in lieu of a physical examination.
A lot of people tend to panic when they research their symptoms. I think this app is more helpful and calming than reading countless websites which are so generic and non-specific. The data analysis is clear and further valid information is provided and presented in a professional and supportive manner.
I’d say it’s worth the money and I look forward to the apps development. I think apps like this will replace a lot of initial patient contact to prioritise and collect data for treatment and track symptoms.

Brilliant!

Always helpful and accurate as far as I know!! It’s never too brutal and doesn’t worry you in the way google does if you search up a simple thing like a belly ache. Although of course Ada does advice you to seek medical advice from a GP, doctor or chemist (etc.) it keeps things personal and only saves your recent symptoms if you wish too, which I prefer rather than hoarding all your history at the side of your screen! Anyway, this app has helped me to find treatments and plenty of information when I need it. It comes up with all the most likely and less likely possible diagnosis’s or illnesses you may be suffering from. But need I remind you, you must answer truthfully or you won’t get accurate result. This is just possibilities and things you may be able to take away and think about/ talk to with your doctor/carer with but it is always best to speak with a profession if your extremely nervous or in a severe physical state!!! But if your looking for a trust worthy, honest app this you must install!
