Bug
For the past few days there has been a bug in which some texts are re-spoken.
Used to be better…
When I first downloaded this app I would have given it five stars, now it gets less, I’d give it 3.5 if you could rate half stars. The app does everything it says it does and it reads out my files perfectly, my issue is with the voices- they used to be much better and on previous versions I had more voice choice. Now I am limited to three for my chosen dialect, all of which sound awful.
I miss ‘Kate enhanced’- honestly I would pay for that voice.
Not too sure
I mean, it does what it says it does. It reads text. But the voice is very strange, a bit like the one used on the Anonymous videos - incredibly robotic and the change in tempo distorts the sounds. Aside from this the rhythm is totally odd and it pauses in the wrong place so that sentences become disjointed. It also pronounced melancholy wrong... if you need simple text read I think it works but I wouldn't suggest it for help learning a language or anything like that. It's just odd really.
