Touch ID fix. Apologies for any recent difficulties using the feature.
Very intuitive app and easy to use
The American Express app is just brilliant. Shows you all the transactions including the pending transaction balance, when you made the last payment and your points balance too. Easy to make a payment through the app. However, it has not got all the functionalities of the website for example you cannot recommend a friend through the app. But overall, a 5* app!
Touch ID broken again and again
My comment on v. 3.4.3:
Fix?? That's not a fix, activation fails all the time I try to register for Touch ID with "we are unable to register Touch ID at this time". Plus is not even clear which password I should use to activate Touch ID, Amex password or Apple ID password. In any case it does not work.
My comment on v. 3.4.2:
I am on iOS 9 and since I have updated the app the login with Touch ID fails all the times
What more could you want from a banking app. Easy to navigate and make payments, see what's on offer etc.
The addition of Touch ID to sign in is a much needed feature for all banking apps, glad Amex have embraced this technology.
