Really disappointed with location features
This App is fine for the basic features - but that’s not why I paid £32 for Premium.
Location-based alerts seems like an after-thought. Cannot use with the “proper” shopping lists (or, if you can’t, it’s a well-hidden option!) only with basic lists. No ability to have multiple locations set for an alert or to have location plus time alerts. Also, you can’t share the location alerts. Finally, can’t use Paired Alexa shopping list as default. I got this mainly to have a shared shopping list in my family to which I can add items on Alexa and which reminds us all of the list (if not empty) when we go to any of the local supermarkets. It’s lacking 3 or 4 thinks needed go make that possible, unfortunately. Google Keep (which is free!) does all of this better, but no Alexa integration.
UPDATE: Downgraded from 2 stars to 1 after nearly a week of use. Location reminders are still popping up for items that I crossed off my list days ago. Can’t get rid of them! 20 reminders each time I visit the train station. This App is going to have to go, after I wasted over £30 on an annual subscription. The premium functions are like a beta test release and it’s not acceptable to charge customers for this!

At this time, Any.do does not offer reminders per lists however if you wish to set a reminder for your shopping items, simply convert the list for the Grocery feature to a standard list which will enable you to do so :) Be advised though that reminders cannot be shared and must be set by each user individually. We are not aware of any issues with the location reminders and would be more than happy to check it for you should you submit a bug via Settings - Support. If compensation is in order we would of course act accordingly.
Excellent app. I only started using the app and can see this app is different league to any other app I tried to help me organise my life and work (and there was at least 30 I tried over last 6 months). What I like about is that there is option to synchronise your existing tasks lists with this one (and this is available with free version). Once you synchronise your tasks the app goes through them one by one asking you whether or not you wish to personalise it. Excellent, easy to use and with extended help and support available at one click.
