Aurora Lighting, one of the world’s largest privately owned LED lighting and technology organisations has launched its smart home lighting kit enabling homeowners to take full control of their home through their smartphone.
The new AOne™ kit is being released in two forms initially. One, the Starter Kit, includes a Hub, an AOne™ Inline dimmer, a remote and 6 ultra efficient mProTM fire rated downlights - ideal for new build projects. A second, the Retrofit kit, includes a Hub, an AOne™ inline dimmer and a remote - enables you to benefit from smart technology without replacing lighting hardware. Once installed users can take charge of their lighting from anywhere in the world via the AOne™ App..
You can use the AOne™ App to turn on, turn off and dim your lights as well as being able to add your lights to spaces and setting schedules for individual lights or groups of lights. Lights can be programmed at certain times and dimming levels and help manage everything from the mood in a room whilst watching a movie to providing peace of mind when you’re not at home.

Simple lighting control
I have tried lots of smart lighting products and normally the apps are so complicated! This isn’t the case with Aurora, it’s simple and Intuitive.
It’s a little basic...
Not a bad start. Be nice to have timed schedules to include option for dusk till dawn options.
Also, with RGB lamps why is it not possible to go through the colours on a continuous cycle?
Any chance you will offer HomeKit support too?
Good start though.
Can we have a option on the schedule to allow for on and off times to be dusk or dawn as well as just times.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
