Frustrating to work with

I’ve had a few issues now where I’ve been locked out of using the app due to it being updated, even though it’s up to date.

The app would refuse to work until it updates, so I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall a few times, with the same issue appearing with myself now locked out of my account, being difficult to access school work.

I hope this issue will fix itself cause this is making it difficult for me to access my work or message my lecturers.

Feels a bit pointless.

It lets me see posts etc from tutors and other students. But there is a lag when downloading files or opening files and you aren't sure if its done it or not. Also, when we get our percentages released for a unit, i cant see any information beyond that. I need to go to the website version on desktop anyway to see feedback from Handin. If the app let you access Handin and student success app like the website does it would feel a lot more useful. As it currently stands you go to assignments, tap an assignment and nothing happens.

Also, not being able to mark all notifications as read is so annoying. I have to have notifications turned off for the app because so many students create posts im not interested in and i just want to be able to mark all notifications as read.

Add handin/student success app, and make it so you can mark all notifications as read. Then the app will be on par with the website version and wont seem pointless.

app is an incomplete mess

Aula, as a digital campus communication platform, falls short in several crucial aspects, making it suboptimal for fostering effective communication and collaboration within the educational setting. One of the glaring issues is its notably poor user interface, which contributes to a disconnect between students and educators.

The platform's UI design is not conducive to facilitating meaningful interactions. It lacks an intuitive structure that should seamlessly display conversations, collaboration efforts, and discussions about class materials. The absence of a user-friendly interface hampers the overall user experience, hindering effective communication between students and educators.

Aula's shortcomings become evident in its failure to provide a cohesive space for students and educators to engage in discussions related to class materials. The platform's design flaws create barriers to seamless collaboration, leading to a fragmented learning experience. Important conversations and collaborative efforts are not adequately highlighted or organized, making it challenging for users to navigate and engage with educational content efficiently.
