The BandHelper app works with your BandHelper account to share info with your bandmates, streamline your management duties and power your live show.
ALL THE INFO YOUR BAND NEEDS TO SHARE
Load your BandHelper account with your songs, set lists, lyrics, chord charts, reference recordings, videos, notes, events and contact info and they appear on all of your bandmates' mobile devices automatically. If inspiration strikes during a rehearsal, make a quick recording in the app and that will be synced, too. With this info at everyone's fingertips, you'll spend less time remembering what you talked about at the last rehearsal and more time becoming a better band.
YOUR COMMAND CENTER ON STAGE
The BandHelper app evolved from the popular Set List Maker app and shares the same on-stage functionality. Auto-scroll lyrics, play backing tracks and click tracks through separate audio ports or inter-app audio, and configure MIDI-compatible sound and lighting equipment as you move from song to song. You can control BandHelper with MIDI or Bluetooth footswitches, and link together multiple devices for screen sharing or remote control on stage.
TIME-SAVING FEATURES FOR BAND LEADERS
Scheduling gigs is a snap with BandHelper's automated email messages to ask your bandmates' availability, send updates if the details of a gig change, and send reminders before the gig. You can set up checklists to help promote or pack for a gig, and build stage plots with a drag-and-drop interface. And splitting the money after a gig is easy with BandHelper's features to track income (performance fees, merch sales, tips) and expenses (gas, food, rentals) and calculate each band member's share of the profit.
MOBILE, WEB AND WATCH INTERFACES
Besides its native mobile apps, BandHelper includes a web interface for efficient data entry, and an Apple Watch app for quick access on the go. You can enter your band's data from any device connected to your account, and BandHelper will sync it to all the others automatically.

Ratings and Reviews
Great time and space saver!
Ever needed to change your set around minutes before going on stage? A specific request? Ban before playing one of the numbers you had planned? Just seen the audience and you need to rock it up? Down?
Band helper lets you move things around and share with all your band mates in an instant.
Furthermore, each member will get their own view be it lyrics, chords, tab, brass chart, drum chart. If you use click tracks or midi tracks, the track is updated and ready to go immediately.
Bandhelper enables me to be in three different bands, plus a couple of additional projects. Each band has its own members (obviously), songs and sets. Some songs and arrangements are common to more than one band. All of this can easily be managed on my iPad or through a web interface.
Saves me and all the people I play with from carrying reams of paper in files or folders and all the associated time it takes to re-order and reorganise.
Arlo, the developer is really helpful too.
Changes to chord text font
Just wanna start odd by saying this app is amazing and been using it for close to 3 years.
Just went to go to my set list and I go to find that the ‘Personal Chord Text Font’ has been changed from a font that was easy to read to hardly seeing the letter.
Is there an option to change the font for chord text?
I’ve been using BandHelper as a tool to help run one of the gospel choirs that I lead and it has made the world of difference!
First of all - we’ve been able to dispense with hard copy lyrics as everyone can access the lyrics on their devices.
And then linked to the lyrics is the facility to add recordings - so great for breaking down songs into their parts.
Then there’s the sign up facility that helps me see ahead of time who is turning up to events and where I can add information about the event.
This app has actually been life changing and I couldn’t imagine choir without it now.
Thanks Arlo - I love this app!
