Banshee’s Last Cry is a thrilling visual novel that takes readers on a deadly thrill ride of murder and deception. Set in a snowed in hotel lodge during Christmas, vacationers find themselves caught up in a murderous “whodunit” game when someone winds up dead. Local legend tells of a banshee whose screams can rip through flesh, but, is the killer really a deadly monster or the work of a madman?
An inventive twist on the traditional novel, Banshee’s Last Cry allows readers to make decisions, each unlocking several unique stories and endings. Added to the mix is a soundtrack befitting of a thriller novel and images to set the mood.

Great little story, poorley explained
EDIT: So it turns out the 'murder mystery' of the game is actually just the beginning of the madness. When you solve the mystery completely you unlock a lot of new options, which take the game to some crazy and hilarious places. It's sad that 90% of people will never even get that far judging by reviews (and my earlier one. Original review below.
So I've played this enough to get about 5 different endings, only one is what you'd call a 'good' ending.
The whole story is good but takes a year to sift through, and to any casual user you would think you have to re-read the entire story to make new choices... Except you don't, a feature requested in these reviews is already in the game, tapping a page with two fingers lets you skip to a previous chapter. But with no user interface and the only instruction on this being one sentence in a menu in the settings menu it's really easy to miss.
I think making that clearer, and giving you the chance to skip to different timelines like Virtues Last Reward would make the story 'branches' much clearer. Also if new text was in a different colour each time that could really help stop me skimming and missing vital clues on subsequent playthroughs.
It would also be nice to know how many endings I can get, and a counter of how many I found.
Right it's basically a 'choose your own adventure book' with a ridiculous number of endings, although it can be confusing how to get to these so you essentially need a walkthrough guide. However the app is amazing still
Great thing we need more of
It's great that such a niche genre got published on iOS by Aksys. I really hope they do more.
Also every time I try and save the game crashes and exits me to the menu. It's a little annoying if I want to save something if I want to load something other than the auto-save.
