HOW TO REGISTER
If you’re 16 or over and you have a UK-registered mobile number and a Barclays current account, follow the onscreen instructions. You’ll need your sort code and account number and you’ll need to verify your identity with PINsentry or at a Barclays cash machine.
If you’ve got an activation code, follow the onscreen steps to register (you won’t need PINsentry for this).
After you’re set up, you’ll only need your 5-digit passcode to log in.
If you only have a Barclaycard account you can’t register for this app but you can register for the MyBarclaycard app.
•Manage your personal and business accounts, and view your Barclays mortgage account, as well as managing your personal Barclaycard accounts
•See recent transactions and check your balances
•Transfer funds between accounts
•Make payments to people you’ve paid before and people in your payee list
• Upload, sort and store your important documents securely with Barclays Cloudit. Just use your camera to take photos of documents you want to store
•Find your nearest branch or cash machine
•Log into Online Banking more easily using Mobile PINsentry. So we can complete some security checks, it’ll take up to 10 days for Mobile PINsentry to be activated in the app
•Call our customer services team direct from the app to speak to an advisor
•Manage your Barclays personal and business accounts with 1 secure log-in.

FOR BUSINESS ACCOUNTS
You can only use the app if you’re a sole-signatory Barclays Business current account holder. You can’t register your Barclaycard business or corporate credit cards.

What's New in Version 2.1
• You can now check your mortgage term, remaining balance, interest rates or even a mortgage overpayment in your Mobile Banking app.
• You can now view and delete your Direct Debits in your app. Go to ‘Account management’ to do this.
Improvements made, but then they broke what didn't need fixing
Ok, since my previous whinges, you have since added business accounts.
This achieved a 5 star rating.
But then - you added a swanky new design, which is pointless as the app is slower and clunkier as a result.
I don't care for plush graphics, I just want to know what my balances are.

For those with a Barclays business account as well as a Barclays personal account:
1) download pingit app as well as mobile banking app.
2) add your most active (payments/purchases) account to pingit.
3) register the other a/c to mobile banking.
4) on pingit, you can see your transactions/balances in real time, just like mobile banking.
5) And now you can see both accounts!
NOT IDEAL - but better than nothing...

I had rated this as a 5 star app - until I realised i couldn't add my business account - and to cap it, there is a really stupid paragraph from Barclays saying that users will have to download it on two devices - huh?? 😒
In this day and age of advanced technology - why is this app not sophisticated enough to deal with both?😠
please can you provide a separate app for business users if you are unable to provide a single app that can deal with both. Business customers are fee paying - you should really be doing this for us.
Refinement is great
I've been a long time user of the app for what could be a few years now.
Each update always brings new features and alignment with current versions of iOS which I believe is good.
After the latest update I felt compelled to write a review and was surprised to see the amount negative feedback. Certainly my wife (iPhone 5) and I (IPhone 6) use it all the time with no issue and both appreciate how simple and intuitive it is to use.
Loving the digital age!
As a member of staff I can't get enough of my mobile banking every update gives a new feature and I can now manage my direct debits as well as my account features, applying for a loan is so easy as well! In the next update I would love to see a standing order feature where I can set up and amend them on the go! Having mobile banking means I can transfer money and make payments on the go I highly recommend it! 😍
