What's New in Version 2.9.4
We've had a spring clean and tidy up of the app.
Thank you for your continued help and support.
Brilliant way to access the BBC's huge radio output
The only problem I regularly encounter is that my list of favourites (which I know is fairly large) often fails to load and I am shown a message saying 'There has been a problem loading this content'. Also, I have noticed a few shows that I mark as favourites are not added to the list of favourites. The recent download quality/size settings are very welcome, I only wish the maximum volume of all shows was higher.
I love this app and use it so much; it's always fascinating researching the archives and learning about art, film, theatre and literature. However this latest update is not good at all. On the iPhone app everything is much much smaller, texts and icons are crammed into the screen and design wise it is far harder to use. I have eye strain and poor eye sight thus using the app is far too difficult now and I can't increase the text size on the app. This is why I listen to radio oppose to reading in the first place! Please revert back to how it was it was much easier to use and then I can use again. Thank you.
I use this to listen to episodes of Late Junction, which is my favourite show. Is there any way to implement the middle button on the iPhone inline remote (that lets you skips tracks when listening to music) to work on the "move forwards 20 seconds" feature? Would be fab if this worked.
