What's New in Version 2.8.2
We've added a new clock button in the menu and full screen player providing a new home for you to wake up and doze off to your favourite stations.
We've also fixed a background audio issue as reported by our iOS 7 users. Thank you for your help and patience with this issue.
We are aware that some users are experiencing difficulties updating to the latest version of iPlayer Radio. We have worked closely with Apple on this matter and the advice is to make sure your iPhone/iPad is running the latest version of iOS.
If you are still experiencing difficulties please read our FAQ at http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/tv/mobile/ios/iphone_ipad_install_freeze or email us at email@example.com stating the precise version of iOS you have installed.
If you are unsure which version of iOS you are running, open the Settings app and navigate to "General -> About" and then look for "Version".
Thank you for your continued help and support, the iPlayer Radio app team.
Brilliant way to access the BBC's huge radio output
The only problem I regularly encounter is that my list of favourites (which I know is fairly large) often fails to load and I am shown a message saying 'There has been a problem loading this content'. Also, I have noticed a few shows that I mark as favourites are not added to the list of favourites. The new download quality/size settings are very welcome, I only wish the maximum volume of all shows was higher.
Great but night time use not great
I love this App, but... I use it every night to listen and finally fall asleep. This works well, but in the night when I want to play more I have find a tiny chevron to get back one screen, then again to get back to a play screen, then start off the process setting sleep time and night mode. Please can you make this process simpler and use the large circular buttons to make it easier for me who has to put on glasses to find the tiny chevrons.
Night time listening
Shame that the latest update has made it a bit more complicated to have the radio station of your choice switch off automatically and go into night mode. Was better when it was a feature from the normal listening screen than on a separate screen.
