App. Needs Work (2 points)

At crucial times the app will freeze (Key footballing time frames on a weekend) meaning you can’t place a new bet, cash in or even check scores. This shouldn’t happen if you want to provide a next level experience for customers. Infrastructure needs a root cause analysis and steps taken to resolve the issue.

Free bets are way too difficult and complicated to use via the app. A user should not have to spend half hours at a time claiming loyalty bonuses. You need to come up with an easy to use straight forward bonus platform.

If you can fix these things I’ll consider moving up the rating off the app

Poor

There’s a few problems for me, one of them being it wouldn’t let me cash out, granted it was near end of normal ft but I thought hey 2.50 is better than nothing. While it wasn’t a major problem it’s still a problem if you can cash out for anything under .... then why have the option there? One other problem I had was it kept freezing, another where it took minutes for odds to change so cash outs where suspended for some time. But the main problem for me was that it’s not clear enough, especially for say a first timer user and bidder in general as I’ve never done a irl bet before. And I had two bets that I should have won but because of ‘small print’ as they say which a didn’t come up on screen or I didn’t think about as its cheap trick. One of those bets being England to win, which they did but not in normal time which meant a loss. The second bid I choose for it to end 1-1 in extra time and go to penalties. Little did I know I had to choose 0-0 for that. So yeah I won’t be betting again anytime soon or using this app or company ever again.

Constant crashes

Wow I must admit this is the worst app for crashing! Not just once or twice a day but almost every time I use the app it will go to a white/grey screen and hang! Eventually returning to home page without going to the page I was try to use so annoying! Whoever is in charge of your app should be sacked! It's terrible! It becomes so annoying and stressful I place my bets with other companies come on Betfair pull your finger out it's not like you don't make enough money profit to at least give us a decent usable app. Update. Nov 18 still crashes constantly very frustrating i only use this app if i really have to as all over apps are far superior betfair should be ashamed of this embarrassment! Update feb 19 still absolute rubbish i dont use social media and to use chat the app actually has to open and not just crash, the worst betting app out there people please look at other apps as this is a waste of your time

Stopped using this app as coral sky willhill all works fine just betfair app is an embarrassment to your company
