The new content is so very...meh

Updated interface is kinda nice, but the content seems different, and not for the better.

Used to get real insights and quirky stories - now I'm just close to cancelling my subscription after 6 or so years.

New app is useless

This is a example of how a good functioning app was made extremely bad. The layout needs some getting used to. Also, the download for reading the magazine offline does not work. Just terrible.

I don't like the new format

New format is no longer like a magazine but instead just like reading internet. It's harder to navigate (more clicks), and looks clumsy (bigger text). The value prop for me is that I have the exact same format as the printed copy but faster (printed copy used to take 2 weeks to get to me), cheaper and tidily portable (multiple issues which are easy to carry round on the ipad).
