Fixed a bug when displaying maps for services run by a different operator
Some of the issues most people appear to be having is with the actual bus system itself. The GPS doesn't account and update owing to traffic lights or traffic. The GPS system is allocated by a certain amount of time between stops, that's why if it says the bus is 5 minutes away, it is, but with traffic or delays it may take 10. It goes by physical location, not by time.
Most of the issues you guys have had, I've never had. The app works fine, always accounts well for me.
You can't blame the app for the end software, it's your problem with lack of education regarding the system, not the buses.
One of the most unreliable apps
Has so many bugs and rarely works. Tweet the company and they give you the blanket "We will pass this on to the developer".
Certain stops never have info - like Churchill Square, one of the busiest in town.
Some buses are listed as just the time they're due - this means they will not show up.
At times when there is disruption or big events in Brighton (when you need live times more than ever), the app would appear to be switched off & you only get blank screens (much like their 'live time' boards)
What seems like a good idea turns out to be a turkey.
Constantly the live times are either blank, or are having problems connecting to their server and when they do work are two minutes behind. So you can get near a stop with supposedly 2 minutes until the bus comes, only to see the bus pulling away.
If you go the other route and try to look at the timetables these regularly come up with 'no timetable available'. This even after it was supposedly updated.
When it works this app is very useful. Unfortunately, it is only functional about 50-60% of the time. Most weekends it doesn't work at all which makes travel planning impossible, so you're left standing at bus stops for 20 minutes waiting for missed connections, like I am tonight. I only switched to this app because the functionality of the much better ( and sorely missed) Bus Times App was ruined in an ill considered upgrade. If the developers (of either app) are reading this, please get it right. A partially functioning travel planning app is worse than useless.
