What's New in Version 1.5.5
Working well on small screen but chromecast not great for me.
After my last review of 1.5.4 that rendered this app useless this 1.5.5 update now opens and is working well for me on the latest version of iOS 6. On demand and live channels working well when played on the small screen.
Chromecast is working for on demand clips and programs although picture quality is taking a minute or so to sharpen up to be watchable. Live channels over chromecast still not working for me, every attempt to cast is met with the message of "an error has occurred it was not possible to play the requested content please try again". This has always been the case at my house since bt added chromecast support, I'm guessing its down to my connection speed (country living ~1mb/s) however having used now tv for both on demand and live channels for sport etc it has worked flawlessly and with a slightly better quality picture to that of bt sport. So I expect bt could get this running better.
If bt can get live channels working well with a good picture on chromecast when connection speeds are not great just as now tv have managed to do then I would happily give 5 stars but for now only 3 and 1/2 to 4 stars.
Can't see what all the criticism is about. I have no issue at all with the app. Good streaming at all times and good quality picture.
Works a treat
Does what says on the tin. Works fine on iPod touch, great for watching when I'm out and about in wifi range.
