What's New in Version 6.5
Small changes to UI & minor bug fixes.
Never become a bt customer
Were are the zero stars. Been a bt customer for over 2 years. Firstly they falsely sell you contracts with services you dont get in your area. The app it keeps cutting out for no reason. When you contact them the staff bully and harass you over the phone or chat. You say you want to deal with management and theirs never anyone there. You upgrade and they send people round without you knowing cause issues which stop your broadband working and your not able to get on line and want you to pay £129 for a visit you shouldnt need. They dont bother dealing with complaints they ignore them. They bully you and always give you a different story when you speak to a different member of staff. So far they have breached the consumer act, in breach of contract, bullying, harassment, fraud so not a company to get involved with. Still waiting for my call from gavin patterson the ceo.
Come on BT
Finally got wifi hotspot to work after weeks of trying. Tried logging in on this app, then the web version. Sometimes it recognised me, but bizarrely it said my password/login details were wrong on other occasions?! Couldn't get the hotspot wifi working though whether I was logged in or not (apart from at home with my Homehub and private password) I'm computer literate, don't worry... Just now I erased the app and reinstalled it and it has now decided to work. Also am I supposed to connect to wifi x or fon? The instructions don't specify and just say bt wifi. Given up on BT call centres (for broadband connection issues. )'If your fault happens again text this number' - doesn't even send. Result they think all is fixed because they don't even receive my feedback. Bt- do you use this stuff yourselves, or see how normal people try to use it? End of whinge.
It's Great - Don't see why others complain
It does the job.. It's not instant but there are always technical reasons with the hardware that would prevent it working as fast as some might expect. Maybe as a technology expert I appreciate that and many others can't.
