Not as good as it was - getting really annoying now

I've been using this app a good few years just to keep track of calories & keep an eye on my nutritional balance & it's been particularly useful since 5:2 fasting arrived.
Having used it for such a long time I'm very aware it's not foolproof & that it has some built in shortcomings - these are mainly due to wrong info being submitted for foodstuffs & nutritional details being entirely missing in some cases which skews the macro results. Over a period of time updates have made the App less responsive mainly due to annoying advert banners that make it 'stagger' more often & pause to the extent that I'm thinking of giving up it's so frustrating! The camera is also less immediate & more often fails.
I would be happy to pay a small fee to remove the ads but not £7.99 pm when I don't use any of the rest of the App. Most of the initially free Apps (as this was) just require a small upgrade fee or to re-load a purchased version - surely that would satisfy a lot of loyal, but increasingly frustrated clients. Come on help us out here!

Still using this app!

I have been using this app for a few years now, on and off (ie when I get weight creepage and it has to come off!) I have tried other apps as part of packages, and this is definitely the leader. It is so easy to use and being in the UK, I am grateful that there are a lot of UK based products (unlike only UScentric on others). It is also good if you are focusing on low carb eating, as you can easily see your mactuntrients and get a count down of what is left for the day. I especially like the Barcode Scanner, really streamlines data entry. An eye opener for what you actually eat and what it is made up of! Very useful for me and my go-to diet conscious app when I need it.

“New goal” suggestion

Great app, have been using it for 2 month. Now changing the goal, and it’s kinda uncomfortable. While was rearranging starting date, goal weight and weekly goal found out that my history records were changed as well🙈 Put everything back. Chose previous goal and app reanalysed my calories needs using current weight. Good. But during 2 month never reanalysed calories needed - would be logical though. The “new goal” option would be really helpful, where you can put new starting date, starting weight, weekly goal and carbs/fat/protein % and still keep history of goals and recordings- good for personal statistics in perspective.
