Simply amazing.

I own, what I now consider, a basic GoPro Hero 3, compared to this tiny cube, aka: GoPro Session 5.
It’s discrete, by its size, you can attach it anywhere without drawing too much attention. You have the option to turn off the red (recording) led light at the front and back or just the front, to be discrete again. Great idea and well though out.
It is waterproof, stabilizes the footage and has a single button for easy, quick access when you need it. That will save you battery, when you are being selective with your footage. When you turn your camera upside down, it self adjusts to view the right way up, before you start recording. You can’t do this during the recording through, but that’s don’t a bad thing. My Hero3 had to be adjusted through settings to do this manually. Finally, you can use voice activation record footage, take still photos or burst shots. You can even book mark a section of live recording by saying, “that’s sick” and that is sick. I can’t believe Go Pro have stopped making this camera cube, because it is awesome. Even more so with the app use, which is a bonus. A great product all round. Go Pro is still here to stay in 2020, despite the smart phone craze and evolving and advancing camera technology.

Unlike some users

Unlike some users I don’t have too much of a problem with this app. At first the app was rubbish but over time has slowly got better. Some things still frustrate me like when editing videos you’re auto flipped into portrait and can’t flip to landscape. This would just make editing easier on phones.
My pet hate with this app and GoPro in general is the upload issues. Auto upload off the camera is rubbish, always get a error message and none upload despite having the latest software on the camera! Also when uploading from the app once you’ve downloaded off the camera (which may I just add...... the camera reaches almost nuclear temperatures whilst being connected to the phone via the app) then once finally on the phone/iPad the upload rate is ridiculously slow. Sometimes it just point blank doesn’t upload either so end up deleting and having to re-download in the hope that the upload feature works. Surely you can add a fix to enable force upload? Also a status indicator would be extremely useful too.
Currently on almost 2 hours for a 4.11 clip if you can’t provide the service without issues don’t have them in the first place or at least notify subscribers of any issues/upgrades etc bit of input from you guys wouldn’t go amiss! It’s not all about releasing new cameras and having quality footage, could have got that from any other brand concentrate on the paid services you’re customers are paying for i.e. sort out GoPro plus services.

Could you please allow me to use the old quik app?

I am very happy with the old quik app, and I am more than happy to pay for it. Please remove the banner which keeps popping up to install this one. I cannot close it and it keep kick me out of the old quik app, and then again it keeps popping up over and over again, and the close button is (perhaps on purpose) put in the end of the screen so you can’t click it. Please, please start charging me for the old one but let me use it without that banner. I tried this new app, but it is not ready yet. It crashes, it allows you to load only 75 vs 100 videos in the other one. I am ok that some features are in new places, I can get used to it, but to delete and duplicate a clip...really? 🤣just put them in the menu below. I am using this on my iPhone 11 Pro not on desktop 😇 how is this new app more superior than the old one? Sorry for the rant but I use the old app quite a lot and it is awesome, so well done for creating it. If you need more detailed feedback on some improvement ideas, feel free to contact me.
