Ratings and Reviews
I had forgotten about this until this update appeared on my iPad. It did delete my progress, but starting again I remember just how great this is. If you want to learn coding, or just enjoy it, this is one of the best apps out there. Getting the perfect three star solution needs thought and logic. If you find it hard, stick at it - you have to think hard and be inventive.
Great App but hard
This is such a great app but very hard for an ammeter like myself to get their head around and the tutorials aren't exactly tutorials as they get quite hard. Maybe making some of the earlier levels easier to let people get the hang of it or simple the tutorials explaining it more and them being easy to make sure we know how to use everything to be able to complete later levels.
Otherwise there's nothing wrong at all if you want a challenge and have time to spend on the levels they are really fun even when you don't get them as you have to try find a new way.
This is really great if you've a bit of programming experience and a logical mindset. That said, the learning curve is surprisingly steep, and there are one or two instances of jargon that are not explained - 'registers' and 'programming stacks' for example. There are also references to 'F2' that haven't been sorted out.
It's great fun, but sometimes seems aimed at the developer's fellow programmers rather than amateurs like myself. Still - five stars; has to be - it's great!
