Good, but not perfect

A good looking app, with a more thoughtful UI than the other tennis Grand Slam apps. I particularly like the ability to tap on a name or player photo in almost any view to be taken to their details page. The use of the stock video player is also better than the other apps (usually horrible) proprietary players, and I like the adoption of 3D Touch shortcuts on the app icon (although why not have Order of Play)

The live score details are sometimes slow to update, though, even when I have a good data connection, and it would be nice not to get double notifications when both players in a match are favourites

A couple of suggestions: have some current match scores on the home page, to save an extra tap/swipe to the 'scores' page; have several stock photos for the homepage that could update to show current weather conditions

Good, but some nice features missing

This is a useful app, but in past years, I recall that it had some nice features that were really helpful, especially if you were actually at Wimbledon. Am I imagining this but wasn't there once a map view that you could tap on to see what was going on at any court? A simple list of the seedings (not all mixed up) would also be useful. Also, it is hard to see why some retired players are included in the lists of players.

The player profiles should also include their achievements in slams other than Wimbledon as this is of real interest when considering players' prospects.

Over complicated

Appears to contain all of the information you want but finding it is another matter. I found the app unresponsive and difficult to navigate - do those arrows left and right mean swipe or tap to select because neither seem to respond to my actions. Swiping up just seemed to open the iOS quick select menu. Now where is the order of play? Oh, you have to tap that tiny icon to open an over complicated sub menu with too many options. In short, I'm not a fan of this app. Apps should be intuitive but this almost requires a manual to use.
