Classic BrickBreaker 4+

The design is superb and makes me feel nostalgic as it feels almost like my old blackberry. However the UI feels odd. Sometimes when I’m playing, I aim the ball so that it hits the edge of the blue thing. But sometimes it just does not hit and glitches out - therefore losing a life. This can be very annoying especially in high rounds as it is hard to stay on high levels. Other than the actual board, I really like the game

After sitting in my study on a Wednesday afternoon the fog clouded over like a warm blanket the fire cracked and I was greeted by my house keeper mrs Nesbit I sent her away as Earlier that day I’d have a prophecy. Jesus in the form of a great owl had come to me. He relayed important messages onto me concerning world hunger and disease. He also relayed the importance of discovering ‘brick breaker’. Days of my youth flashed before my eyes. I knew what I must do I hurried over to the application store and found this application once again I sunk into a deep hole of addiction and desperation all I heard when I closed my eyes was the subtle ‘beep’ it’s all I could think about. I tried black tar heroin to try and stop my crushing addiction to ‘brick breaker’ but alas it did not work. After my wife left me due to the unsociable hours on brick breaker 4 years had passed. This is when I achieved level 34 finally. Overall great game would recommend.

Almost identical to original Blackberry version except “slow” and “wrap” are missing. I love the game but it drives me insane when the paddle freezes and you lose a life . . . because lives are incredibly difficult to earn. The paddle freezes a lot and the game crashes quite a bit too. In the Blackberry version you could rack up dozens of complete games and earn 100’s of lives, but in this version you rarely get up to 2 complete run through’s (I achieved 3 once) and have only managed to earn a maximum of 10 lives, as they rarely drop down, and some levels will take almost that in one game! So it’s really, really tough to progress. However the game is so addictive you keep trying! Update: As it’s so difficult to progress, I’m considering giving up on the game. Come on, Solomon Spiro, give us a chance, give us the original Blackberry version and a few more lives. Oh, and fix the sticking paddle.
